Sunday:
Pictured: Brunch, which consisted of a mimosa, iced coffee, a basket of muffins and an omelette-y thing with proscuitto. All while reading the Sunday Times.
The rest of the day:
- Visited the Met (Hearst ID = free admittance!)
- Wandered through Central Park (and almost died from the heat)
- Went to Upright Citizen’s Brigadee theatre and saw ASSSSCAT 3000, the theatre’s all-guest improv show. Last time, there were only a few people performing. This time, there were writers from Conan, 30 Rock and The Colbert Report, and Rob Riggle (from The Daily Show), Horatio Sanz and Rachael Dratch were there! It was pretty good, but the guy who was the monologuist (aka, unofficial leader/host) was fuck awful.
- Joe’s Shanghai, a chinese restaurant that I took on suggestion and was glad I did. Pork crab meat soup dumplings, mmm. The 1/2 crispy duck was good, and the pork shoulder was….not my bag. Oh well.
